Drawn precision steel tubes

Tubes cold drawn according to EN 10305-2 several times allow an unlimited variety of shapes and extremely high dimensional accuracy. They are used in particular for precision steel tubes with special tolerances and for customised production. The mother tube used for the drawing process is machine manufactured as a high-precision, size-rolled steel tube with removed inner and outer seams. Depending on dimensions and requirements on the tube surface the mother tube is treated in different kinds of treatment before being cold-drawn: pickling, phosphating, or - for more exacting requirements - treating with reactive drawing oil.
